Diplomová práce řeší problematiku sociálních medií v marketingové komunikaci vybrané společnosti. Cílem této práce je analyzovat současný stav marketingové komunikace na sociálních sítích dané společnosti a navrhnout nové řešení pro využití vhodnějších médií. První část je věnována problematice marketingu, marketingové komunikaci a sociálním sítím. Analytická část poté studuje vnější prostředí společnosti spolu s konkurencí a situací uvnitř společnosti. Poslední část představuje možné návrhy řešení, jak vylepšit marketingovou komunikaci společnosti na sociálních sítí, spolu s analýzou jejich efektivity, návrhu kampaně na tuzemském trhu spolu s dosahem zahraničních trhů a přihlédnutím na konkrétní produkt.

Nejvíce se zabývá používáním internetu, vlivu smartphonů na různé oblasti lidského života, používání internetového portálu YouTube, vlivem YouTuberů na společnost a popsáním pojmů streamer, streamování. Práce popisuje jak pozitivní vlivy těchto technologií na společnost, tak negativní vlivy, které přináší.
Multimedia Data Distribution over Internet

The text of this work deals with multimedia data distribution over Internet with a focus on creating web pages using application APIs that are available on Google and creating an independent video portal using open-source scripts ClipBucket and PHPmotion. There are analyzed problems of transmission of video and audio data using Web browsers. There are described protocols and codecs for video streaming in web browsers. In details it is described creating of Web sites with the inclusion of application API directly into the HTML source code and creating an independent video portal with a complete configuration of the server for hosting. As an annex the created Web pages are listed with video content and laboratory exercises on the practical test and integration of multimedia content and the practical administraton of the video portal.

The thesis deals with a topic of virtual relaxation and the contrast between idealized landscape and everyday reality. The theme of landscape compensation is very comprehensive and widely interacts with and impacts on psychological and cultural levels. For example, when images of nature represent a place of denied primary purity or the unreachable paradise. I draw my inspiration from YouTube channel phenomenon of relaxation videos which depict several hours’ long static views of the ideal landscape with authentic sound in the background. The aim of the work is to prepare a happening with a video recording, when the absurdly long journey in search of the ideal will not be transferable.

This thesis analyzes the YouTube service and describes its main deficiencies. Based on theoretical methods and analyses, its main goal is to design a service that will solve the main YouTube problems, build a company around this service and introduce this service to the market. This service will not replace YouTube, but it will supplement it. Further, this work will suggest a possible structure, strategy and information strategy of this new company and its estimated financial results in the first few years.
Use of Social Media in Marketing Communication of Selected Company

The diploma thesis describes the issue of using social networks of a selected com-pany in marketing communication. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current situation in the company and to suggest a new solution, the marketing tools, which the company can use in the future. The first part summarizes the issues of marke-ting communication, marketing and communication mix and social networks. The analytical part includes analysis of the internal and external environment, analysis of the competitive position of the company, as well as SWOT analysis. The final proposal then explores the communication channels currently in use and shows new possibilities for using communication channels along with the expected costs.

The thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of the marketing plan and with the way how the Faculty of business and management in Brno and other competing faculties promote themselves. The main purpose is to create a marketing action plan designated for the Faculty of business and management in order to increase the number of applicants applying for this faculty.
